Ex-Prosecutor Tom Grieve takes you inside the court room.

In Vanderstok v. Garland, filed in the Federal Northern District Court of Texas, Judge Reed O'Connor issued a preliminary injunction on March 3, 2023 BLOCKING the ATF frame/receiver rule. Critically, this means that the judge ruled that the plaintiffs (the people suing the ATF) could check each of the following four boxes:

(1) a substantial likelihood of success on the merits;
(2) a substantial threat of irreparable harm;
(3) that the balance of hardships weighs in their favor; and
(4) that the issuance of the preliminary injunction will not disserve the public interest

Most notably, number 1 above strongly suggests that the lawsuit is on a path for a victory.

What does this mean in detail? What are the next steps? Check out the video for the scoop.
