Chatfield vs Bear Creek FULL GAME 10.24.2020 | high school football

Sophomore Mason Lowe gained 247 total yards (148 rushing, 99 receiving) and scored 2 spectacular touchdowns, but it was all for not. Chatfield was without All-Conference defenders Sr Daniel Kobilan (CB - ankle) and Sr Alex Paraschiv (DE - ineligible) and really hurt the Chargers as the underdog Bears scored two touchdowns on Kobilan's replacements. Jr Jaedon Minter threw for 260 yards and 3 TDs for Bear Creek, with Sr Adrian Valenzuela catching 3-85 & 2 scores and Jr Black McComber catching 4-100.

Sr QB Ethan Delfino threw for 111 yd, 1 TD, 2 Int before being taken out for the season on a cheap shot way after a pass on the last drive as Chatfield tried to tie it up. Jr Tony Adams made a couple great plays, throwing for 36 yards, but ultimately, an interception by Jr Colton Henderson in the end zone sealed the win for the Bears. Henderson added 11 tackles.

Caleb Saused (13 Tk, 1 TFL) and Ryan Segovia (10 tk, 2 TFL) also led the Bear Creek defense. Jr RB Richie Cabellero was held to 38 yards rushing (2.8 ypc), but did score a TD.

So LB Cade Thomas (10 tk, 1 TFL), Sr S Aiden Kempen (10 tk, 5 PASSES DEFENSED), Jr LB Caden Logan ( 7 tk, 1 TFL, 1 nearly intercepted pitch), So DT Sam Ayres and Jr DL Jackson McCullough (7 tk each) led the Charger defense. Jr WR Mason Cowgill had a 35 yard catch and run.
