Scott Gray interview The Saline County Quorum Court won't allow Paper Ballot presentation

The Arkansas Saline County GOP Committee met Thursday, March 2nd to talk about Paper Ballots and the bill SB250. The sponsor of sb250, Arkansas State Senator Kim Hammer was the main speaker

SB250, TO AMEND THE LAW CONCERNING PAPER BALLOTS; TO AMEND THE LAW CONCERNING MARKING AND COUNTING PAPER BALLOTS;
TO AMEND THE LAW CONCERNING THE DECLARATION OF ELECTION RESULTS; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY; was debated and passed out of the Arkansas State Senate Tuesday February 28th 2023.

The Emergency clause that puts the bill into effect immediately at first failed but was later passed. SB250 should head over to Arkansas House State Agencies Committee.

The bill is marketed as establishing guidelines for counting paper ballots, but actually discourages counties by increasing the cost for elections, requiring a confusing 24-hour deadline to post results, and requires usage of the corruptible ES&S machines.
