Vladimir Putin vows to avenge an alleged attack by Ukraine on the Russian city of Bryansk. Ukraine's battlefield witnessed carpet bombing as Russia says it is seeking to destroy ‘terrorists’ behind the purported Bryansk attack. Non-stop 'rocket rains' hit Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia. Amid massive Russian shelling, Ukraine lost one of its armoured depots in Donetsk. In Kherson, attacks launched by Russian aviation and artillery resulted in the neutralisation of a munition depot of a Ukrainian territorial defence brigade. According to the Russian defence ministry, Moscow's aerospace forces also shot down one Ukrainian Su-24 aircraft and one Mi-8 helicopter. Watch this report for more information.
