Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on March 1

▪️Ukrainian units made another attempt to attack objects on the territory of the Crimean peninsula using drones.

Thanks to the coordinated work of Russian air defenses, all 15 enemy vehicles were shot down.

▪️In the Kupyansk area, the sides are engaged in artillery duels and mutual reconnaissance.

Russian troops repulsed all AFU’s attempts to regain control of Hryanykivka.

▪️In the Lyman sector, Russian assault troops backed by tanks knocked the enemy out of several heights in the area of Balka Zhuravka.

At the same time, barrel and rocket artillery is striking on detected AFU positions.

▪️Wagner PMC units expanded their control zone in the direction of the village of Artemivske, gradually closing the ring of encirclement.

The liberation of the village will cut off the last supply route of the Bakhmut grouping.

▪️Southwest, the units of the Wagner PMC conduct regular raids on the AFU positions in Krasne and near the road to Kostyantynivka.

The Ukrainian command does not count the losses and throws reserve forces into the fight, trying to hold back the advance of the Russian forces.

▪️Ukrainian units continue shelling residential areas of Donetsk agglomeration.

Residential buildings and infrastructure in Makiivka, Horlivka and Donetsk were hit.

▪️Russian Marines continue to fight in countryside areas near Vuhledar.

At the same time, the AFU units are building a multi-tiered defense ahead of a new Russian offensive.
