Canada: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on B.C. health-care deal, foreign election interference– March 1, 2023

In Vancouver, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and British Columbia Premier David Eby announce that B.C. has accepted an health-care funding agreement in principle with the federal government. British Columbia is the 9th province to agree to a health-care funding deal with the federal government. Following the announcement, Prime Minister Trudeau responds to questions from the reporters on alleged Chinese interference in the 2019 and 2021 federal elections as well as whether his government will agree to a public inquiry examining this matter.
