With oil products still powering 99 percent of all shipping, transforming the industry and charting a course towards full decarbonization puts many countries fuel security at risk. The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has set an ambition to reduce international shipping carbon emissions per transport work by at least 40 percent by 2030 (7 years from now). 24 MAY 2022
