Dozens dead after trains collide in northern Greece

At least 32 people have been killed and many others have been left injured after two trains collided in northern Greece.

The passenger service said to be carrying some 350 people hit a freight train head on.

One of the carriages is said to have been crushed completely and a fire broke out.

Rescuers worked through the night at the crash scene near the city of Larissa.

It is the deadliest rail crash to occur in Greece in recent years.
