AG Garland testifies at Senate oversight hearing

Attorney General Merrick Garland testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on oversight of the Justice Department. On the effects of bipartisan gun laws, Garland said: "It's done several things for us. First of all, it has, as you said, established a standalone crime for straw purchasing and a standalone crime for trafficking illegal weapons."
