The lives of 21 crew members of the dry cargo ship carrying 29,000 tons of alumina for Rusal were saved. The company, together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, carried out a rescue operation for a week, making its way to the distressed through the 10-point ice in the waters of the Tatar Strait, which connects the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk.
The ship was not pulled out, Rusal was again unlucky with the logistics of raw materials, but the main thing is that the lives of the crew are safe.
