Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on February 28

▪️During the past 24 hours, Ukrainian units attempted several drone strikes on Russian territory.

One of them crashed in Surazhsky district of Bryansk region, failing to reach its target.

▪️Four Ukrainian drones were neutralized by electronic warfare means in Belgorod.

The drones, which had lost control, fell on the city, damaging parked cars and a shopping mall.

▪️At least two UAVs hit a Rosneft oil depot in Tuapse. One of the UAVs was made in Israel.

The fuel storage facility was not damaged, but one of the outbuildings was. The fire was put out in an emergency.

▪️A Ukrainian-made Soviet Tu-141 Strizh UAV crashed near the village of Novy in Adygea.

The target of the attack could have been a nearby chemical processing plant or military facilities in the republic.

▪️The Carpet plan was implemented in St. Petersburg, with airspace sealed off during intrusions by unidentified aircraft.

The restrictions were later lifted. The Russian Defense Ministry called the incident a readiness test and training exercise.

▪️A UJ-22 drone crashed near a gas-compressing station in the Kolomenskiy District of the Moscow Region.

The drone was probably moving at a low altitude and got hooked on branches, after which it crashed.

▪️The Wagner PMC's assault groups continue to advance in the south of Bakhmut near the Mariupol cemetery.

East of the cemetery, Russian forces are breaking the enemy defenses in the Sobachevka neighborhood.
