In an early scene from the anime "My Dress-Up Darling", Wakana Gojo is in the high school attending class. During a boring class, she Wakana starts to feel her nose itch and she unintentionally lets out a loud sneeze. Unfortunately for her, the paper with the task she was carrying out flies out the window and lands right on the head of the boy sitting in front of her, Marin Kitagawa.

Marin, who was concentrating on his work, is surprised by the sudden arrival of the paper on his head and looks in Wakana's direction. When he sees the girl, he is struck by her beauty and her unique attire. In fact, Wakana wears cosplay-inspired clothing, with a cat-shaped hat and pointy ears. Marin looks up to her and asks her if she's a fan of cosplay. Wakana, a little embarrassed but also happy to find someone to share her passion, says yes.

Marin invites Wakana to her cosplay shop and shows her some of her costumes. Wakana chooses a beautiful princess dress and she puts it on, admiring herself in her mirror. In this way, her sneezing scene led to her acquaintance with Marin and the discovery of her passion for cosplay.
