S04E05 Becker's Easy Eats: Easy Chicken Fricassee

Fricassee is a stew made with pieces of meat that have been browned in butter then served in a sauce flavored with the cooking stock. It is usually made with chicken, veal or rabbit. While the word fricassee has a French origin, this dish may or may not have originated from France.

For this recipe, I am using a combination of bone-in chicken drumstick and boneless chicken thighs. Ideally, bone-in chicken pieces are used, but I couldn't find them here. If you are in the same situation, remember to adjust the cooking time since boneless chicken cooks faster.
