Gutting An Entire Camper With Just A Hammer

The other day I went after the camper with nothing but a claw hammer and some energy. I gutted the whole inside of the 32 foot camper in an afternoon.

I started in the dining room area kicking and bashing with the hammer. I removed the whole side of the camper in a couple hours this way.

I took a bit of a break and demolished the entire second half of the camper with my hammer. Campers are made light and simple. Only staples and a few screws hold things together. The framing of the cabinets and built in furniture is only 1 x 2 or 2 x 2 boards. This stuff breaks up easily with a hammer.

I gutted the entire camper inside with my hammer in a single afternoon. It is some good stress relief too.

I hope to strip this camper down to the bare metal frame and build a tiny house on wheels on the trailer frame.
