Making A Reclaimed Lumber Coat Hook Shelf In My Tiny Home

I used some more of the old barn wood that I got to make a coat rack/shelf right next to the door of my tiny house on wheels.

I love the rustic look of the old reclaimed barn wood and the contrast to the homemade reclaimed lumber paneling.

I simply cut two pieces of old barn wood into 22 inch wide strips and then screwed one onto the other to create a shelf. I mounted my new shelf on to the wall of my tiny house next to the doorway so I can put my hat, gloves and jackets on it when I come and go through the door.

I oiled the shelf right away with three coats of mineral oil to protect the wood from cracking and drying out.

A package arrived in the mail with an awesome CREE LED headlamp inside. I dont know who sent it but this light looks amazing. This takes special rechargeable batteries which I found on Ebay and promptly bought. They should arrive any day now.

I cant wait to test out this new head lamp.
