Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on February 25-26

▪️The AFU once again shelled the territory of the Kursk region. Hits were recorded in Korenevsky and Glushkovsky districts.

As a result of the strike, Alekseevka was partially cut from electric energy, civilian casualties were avoided.

▪️In the Kup'yans'k sector, Russian troops are engaged in heavy battles near Hryanykivka.

The AFU is putting reserves into battle, trying to keep bridges and crossings over the Oskil River under control.

▪️As a result of decisive actions, the fighters of the Wagner PMC completely liberated Yahidne and Dubovo-Vasylivka.

The offensive is developing in the direction of the Berkhivs'ke Reservoir, aiming to reach the operational expanse in the Bohdanivka area.

▪️On the northern outskirts of Bakhmut, Wagner PMC units are moving towards the Artemivsk non-ferrous metal processing plant.

In order to slow down the advance of the Russian forces, the enemy blew up a reservoir near Khromove.

▪️In the eastern districts of Bakhmut, Wagner PMC groups coming close to the Bakhmutovka River.

Russian aviation and artillery support the offensive and launch constant strikes on Ukrainian positions.

▪️To the south-west, Wagner PMC units continue to storm the fortified area in Ivanivske — fighting is taking place on the outskirts of the village.

The Russian forces managed to align the front line along the Bakhmut–Kostyantynivka road, forcing the AFU to retreat to the reserve lines.

▪️In the suburbs of Donetsk, Somalia Battalion soldiers are advancing to Avdiivka from Opytne side, taking control of several fortified areas.

The Ukrainian command is preparing to conduct a counterattack and recapture the lost positions.
