Installing Tiny House Bathroom And Loft Windows S21

Friday afternoon John and I installed the tiny home loft windows and bathroom window. Now there is plenty of light and air flow in my tiny house on wheels.

I picked up two basement windows at Lowes for only $47 each. These are double pane windows and fit perfectly in my loft where I wanted to put windows. They are 32 inches wide by only 14 inches high. It is a perfect fit.

They also open up nearly all the way to allow maximum air flow out of the hot loft in summer. And they come with window screens out of the box.

The bathroom window is a slider window with a screen as well. It is also double pane.

This means that all of my tiny home windows are double pane windows. It is going to be a cozy winter in my tiny house.

John cut the opening for the bathroom window while I put in the framing for the loft windows. It was an easy job with just three simple pieces of 2x4 which I screwed and glued into place for the windows.

I taped around the bathroom window opening and installed the window while John cut the upstairs window opening.

We put in the loft bedroom window together and then while I was finishing that one up, John cut the other loft window out. Then we placed that one into the hole.

They all fit perfectly and look nice.

I now have light and fresh air in the loft and bathroom.
