Huge Pallet Haul For My Tiny Home Construction N4

I spent the entire day loading and hauling pallets to help in building my tiny house on wheels. It was a lot of pallets but these will be used for the siding on my tiny home.

It is well worth a tank of gas to get all the pallets I need for my tiny house. Plus any broken boards and scrap goes into the wood stove for heat in winter. There is nothing wasted. Even the nails can be turned in for scrap metal or reused in projects.

Some people think that my time could be better spent but in comparison vinyl siding, with all the trim, would cost me about $1,000. Now a tank of gas in the truck and two days of work is way cheaper than that in my opinion.

The pallet wood will make perfect siding for my tiny cottage. This is heat treated, dried and cured oak wood. These pallets sit outside for years and are still good and useful.

This makes them perfect for the siding on my tiny home.

I will treat them with oil for even longer life when they go on my tiny house on wheels.

I love my old truck with the dump bed. It sure makes a job like this go faster. Otherwise I would be unloading all of these pallets by hand and it would take longer to get the job done.

They guy who posted these online was in a hurry to get the job done so we rushed and just dumped them on the property for now.

Later I can stack them as I sort them out for use on my tiny house
