Molly Dolly From YouTube Visits The Off Grid Project

Molly Dolly from YouTube came all the way from California for a visit this weekend. Monday she got a tour of The Off Grid Project and the surrounding area near the Shawangunk Mountain range.

A package had arrived on Friday but I was so busy working on the property and preparing for the work weekend with 13 people that I did not have time to open it.

It folds neatly away into the carrying case provided. This is a very small package when folded away, making it convenient for camping, hiking or backpacking.

It was a beautiful day with sunny skies and 67 degrees. A perfect day for a walk around the property and for some sight seeing.

Molly and her husband were over for the weekend and helped out on the property clean up job as well.

But Monday was fun day. We got to see some of the sights in the area. These included the scenic overlook by Ellenville, NY. From here you can see the Shawangunk Mountain range and all the way up to the foot of the Catskill Mountains.

First we had a tour of the meadow and the property near the off grid tiny house on wheels. Then we took a walk through the woods to Prayer Rock. It is so peaceful out there that we had a rest in silence for a while. We just enjoyed the peace of the forest out there a bit.

In Ellenville we got to see some hang gliders and paragliders right over our heads. They hovered for a very long time as we watched and recorded the scene.

Later we took a trip to Lake Minnewaska and viewed the water falls there.

There is so much beauty near my home. Many people wonder why I stay in New York. But if you came for a visit you would understand.
