Trying New Sony Action Cam While Felling A Tree & Splitting Fire wood

I got the Sony Action Cam HDR-AS20 so that I can capture more video during the day. I have often said that I wish I had an action cam to capture video while I am working because setting up the tripod and moving it all the time is a burden.

I have been looking at action cameras and saving for a while now. Many months actually. I finally chose the Sony action camera for various reasons. It was on sale for one. It is a name I trust because I love my main video camera. This action camera has image stabilization, slow motion at 120 fps, HD video and more. It also has great sound quality with the case on and it has no fish eye look.

I went out to fell a tree using my new action camera for the first time. I figured this would be a good trial run for the camera.

I cut down the tree and logged it out while trudging through three feet of snow. It was a serious workout.

I then tossed all the wood into a path I had cleared of snow behind the tiny house on wheels.

Next I had to carry all the wood over to be split and stacked in front of the tiny home.

It took me about an hour in total do to the job. After editing the video I had about 35 minutes. I sped up some of the work so as not to bore you.

I also left in the pain and mistakes. My broken rib hurts badly but there is nobody else out here to do the work for me. So I have to just keep going every day.

I will be using the action camera a lot more these days to give you more video footage and more realism on what I do with my days.

I hope you like it.
