John Returns To The Tiny House Plus Awesome Snow Enhanced Solar

It was a cloudy day but the solar panels were putting out about 200 watts. This is quite amazing and way more than I ever see on a cloudy day without snow on the ground.

I cant believe how well the solar panels performed with the light reflected off the snow. Snow and cold help improve solar panel output tremendously. On a cloudy day with no snow on the ground I generally see between 8 to 25 watts of solar power output from my 800 watts of solar panels.

Remember I am in the woods and in a Northern climate so the sun is lower in the sky and I get fewer sunlight hours than most homes do. It all depends on where you live. Solar panel output varies greatly based on your location.

John returned to the tiny house on wheels to check things out. He originally came for a visit due to my invitation to a nice meal for all his help. But things turned a bit after that.

We had a look around and John examined all the progress that was made on the house since he was last here. John helped frame the tiny house and helped put in the windows, sheathing and tar paper. This was an amazing help. These were projects I could not have done alone.

Now he gets to see all the progress since then. It has been a couple months now since his last visit.
