Enjoying Some Early Homestead Harvest

I am already enjoying some fresh garden produce at my off grid homestead. My tomatoes that I bought just a week ago are already producing fine, sweet and juicy tomatoes. My strawberries from last year are producing hand fulls every day.

I am also enjoying lettuce that grew up from last year. I have some root vegetable greens from plants that I did not harvest last fall. These are still growing and producing very nice tasty leaves which I love to eat fresh or steamed.

My herb garden is also growing nicely. I planted a lot of herbs last year. This year they are quite large. I am enjoying them fresh from the garden. I love to just grab herbs by the handful and munching on them for their flavor and nutrients.
