Working On Tiny House Rain Water Collection System Part 2

Still working on the tiny house rain water collection system. This is part two of the video.

I cut the rain gutter to fit up against the side of the tiny house using two elbows and a piece of down spout. Then I fastened the down spout to the tiny house on wheels using down spout brackets. Now it is really starting to look like a home.

I was going to finish the entire rain water collection system today but I discovered that my down spout adapters which to into the first flush diverter are too big for my down spouts. I cannot use them.

I got some packages in the mail today. One package has cool stainless steel folding stove which comes in a case. It opens up and you can cook on it using twigs and branches or you can put in the metal dish that comes with it and use it as an alcohol stove.

This is the ultimate survival cooking stove. In most places in North America fuel is abundant. You can find the stove here:

I went back to town to get new parts for a first flush diverter because the parts I have will not work. I had to drive all the way to Lowes for supplies.

I showed the new materials that I have picked up. This new first flush diverter is larger by far but it will be perfect for my tiny house rain water collection system.

My replacement water heater arrived. I am happy and excited. I will finally have hot water on demand in my tiny house on wheels.

I hope to finish the entire system by the end of the week.

Thank you for watching.
