How Melanie And I Met & Got To Know Each Other

Ok here are the answers to your questions about how Melanie and I met and how long we have known each other. Many people are asking about this so we made a video together.

We made this video in my last 30 minutes before leaving Manila for New York so we were quite emotional. We were very sad that I was leaving. Please understand when watching this video.

Melanie and I were both praying for pretty much the same thing before we met. I wanted a girl who loved God and put Him first in her life. I wanted a girl raised in the old fashioned ways. Melanie wanted a family man who would put God first and lead the family according to the Bible.

We each joined Christian Mingle and this is how we met. I was not looking for a foreign girl. Actually I had decided that was too much trouble and paperwork because many of my friends have gone through the process and struggled very much along the way.

But when I met Melanie on the dating site, I was not interested in any other girl from that minute. She took a day or two to answer my message so I did try to chat with a couple other girls but I was only interested in Melanie.

When we first talked it was clear to me that she was the one I wanted to know more about. We first talked about our faith before going on about anything else. This was the most important thing to both of us.

After that we talked with Skype video daily and got to know one another quite well. We both feel like we have known one another for years already. We are quite comfortable with one another.

After a short time we were already talking about future and family. Melanie was watching my videos so she knew all about me and my life style. She is aware of the fact that I live off the grid and am building a tiny house. She also knows that it gets cold here in winter.

When I traveled to Manila to see Melanie in person, I already knew she was the one for me. I also knew she would say yes when I proposed.

We fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. We are so compatible it is hard to believe.

Melanie is going to work with me on the homestead and on YouTube. She will fill in the gaps and make my life whole. She will help complete my channel as well. We will be a good team, best friends and a family.

I kept our relationship a secret until I was sure that she was the one for me. For one I did not want my enemies attacking her. For another I did not want to make a huge scene on YouTube with a girl only to have it be a flop online.

When I went to the Philippines I knew she was the one for sure.
