Finishing The Tiny House Bedroom Wall With OSB

Since it is raining hard for days outside I have been working upstairs in the tiny house bedroom loft. I hope to finish the entire bedroom and put in closets and shelves while it is raining out.

I had already put up the last of the radiant foil the other day. Now it was time to put on the OSB sheets.

This OSB is the stuff I got for free from the local small engine shop. It has been used once as a packing crate for a garden tractor. It is perfectly clean and new.

I put up the furring strips for the radiant foil first. This is double sided radiant foil so it will stop the summer heat from entering the tiny house on wheels and it will stop winter heat from leaving.

Next came the OSB. Now this has been used for crates so it is full of staples and attached to boards. It is taking me a long time to prepare each piece of wood. But it is free reclaimed lumber and very much worth it. I am keeping the cost of the tiny house down by using free recycled wood as much as possible.

It took me all day due to all the nails and staples but I got the tiny home bedroom loft walls done.

Next I will build the shelves and closets upstairs.
