Employed Or Not Employed ~ That Is The Question ~ And Others Answered

Hi everybody. There seem to be a couple questions that keep floating around a lot. So I have decided to answer them on video once and for all instead of repeating the same answers in the comments every day.

I am not unemployed. I have a job. A full time job. I am actually self employed but I have a job.

I used to work for big online companies programming websites and doing SEO work. Now I do the same thing for myself.

I sell advertising space on my websites and this pays a large portion of my bills.

I make YouTube videos and this helps a lot as well.

I also sell products online and hope to expand into pallet wood products which I will sell online and offline at the local markets. This will most likely start after Melanie arrives though because I just do not have time right now when I am alone.

Many people are confused by the tabloid rumors from my trolls. Some people just do not understand that someone can be self employed and make a living online these days.

But if you consider that I worked for huge online only companies which had multiple employees and were all very successful, everyone would say this was a legitimate job. I worked for a company. I got up, drove my car 45 minutes one way to work. Sat in an office all day working for the company. Drove home at night.

Now I do the same job for myself. It is a job.

Another huge question that keeps coming up is why I upload my videos during the day and not at night.

One reason is that I am off the grid and the sun shines during the day. I get more solar power during the day.

The other reason is that my internet connection is very slow. It is also on a shared network. This means that during peak hours when everyone is online, my internet is SLOW. Very slow.

So I work online and upload videos during off peak hours during the day when everyone is at work and the bandwidth is pretty good.

Nights or evenings most kids are online watching movies or playing games so my internet is very slow. I sometimes get about 385 KB upload speed during these times. Forget it.

I hope this clears up a few of the common questions floating around these days.
