I got some real heat shielding for my off grid tiny house wood stove. TSC has their heating products on clearance for the season and I got a very good deal.

I also picked up some framing to build a support for my wood stove pipes. The triple wall stainless steel stove pipes are quite heavy and I need to secure them safer.

I started out by using two fence stakes as side rails for the stove pipe supports. I used some angle iron for the cross members of the support.

The new heat shield fits perfectly like it was made specifically for the job. I love it. It fits right in place and covers exactly the area I wanted it for.

I managed to get the new support brackets built and in place. I manhandled the stove pipe onto the new brackets and then used a piece of 2x6 to frame it to the floor securely. That stove pipe is not going anywhere now. It can never fall down.

Stay tuned for part two of the day's work.
