Homestead Looking Good ~ Removed Old Fence Lines

There was a lot of work going on at the off grid homestead today. This is the second part of the day's work. Melanie was working in the garden. Chris was working on the wood pile and hauling leaves to the garden area. I was mulching the leaves for the garden. Plus I cleaned up the entire fence line where the old garden and chicken coops.

I removed all the fence posts and fence materials along the entire outer perimeter of the old garden and chicken run. Then I removed all the rocks along the path where I had tossed them the last two years.

Next I cut the grass along the fence lines. It sure looks good out there now.

Chris was taking apart the old wind turbine tower and I hauled the pieces away to stack them up neatly on the side of the yard.

I then mowed the grass in that area as well.

Later Melanie was working in the garden. We got some plants on discount and she was planting them in the garden.

Chris was hauling leaves over to the garden area and I ran the mulching machine to chop them up fine to use as mulch in the garden.
