What is a REAL MAN? Too often men think that their wives are there to make them happy. According to the Bible, it's just the opposite.
The man is supposed to be the one making her happy.

Deu 24:5 When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out in the army, neither shall he be assigned any business. He shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife whom he has taken.

Problems erupt in a marriage when a man expects his wife to function emotionally as the giver. He wants to be the receiver.

He expects her to meet his emotional needs when God has made him to meet hers.
He expects her to fulfill his sexual needs when God has made him to fulfill hers.
He expects her to support his ego and elevate him when God has made him to confirm her and dissipate her insecurities.

In such a situation, the man wants to be married to a man. He wants to be the woman. She then gets frustrated knowing deep inside, he is acting like a woman.
