What is killing young, healthy Americans?

Less than you might anticipate during a pandemic, there was an increase in deaths in America in 2020, some of which could be due to COVID and ineffective first treatment methods. Yet in 2021, the statistics that many had anticipated went awry. According to data made public by the CEO of OneAmerica Insurance, deaths among persons of working age (18–64) increased by 40% between the third and fourth quarters of 2021 compared to the period prior to the pandemic. Importantly, COVID was not the cause of the bulk of the deaths.
Ask yourself whether you can remember witnessing similar events in your own life—in junior high? higher education? a student? How often have you heard about an artist passing away while on stage during a show? You will be able to recognize that what you are going to see is abnormal based on your own life experience and intuition.
