China's 12-point peace plan has been proposed in order to bring stability and work towards resolving armed conflicts. It calls for specific measures such as ceasing fire, easing tensions, negotiating political solutions, forging a stronger commitment to non-violence and the respect of sovereignty and territorial integrity.
