There are actually no benefits to hypnotizing a chicken except understanding what happens to them when they experience fear. This state of fear put them in a trance for survival. Because of this fear mechanism, my chickens have survived dog and hawk attacks while free-ranging. Understanding animals is fundamental when raising kids on a farm- orm, in my case, grandparenting kids on a farm :)
