Turbo Carbureted Cold Start- E85 Turbocharged Carbureted LS 4.8 | Turbo Dodge W100 Power Wagon|

Today we will be looking at starting my truck in below freezing temperatures. My truck is a 1975 dodge w100 power wagon and it sports a carbureted LS with a modified demon 650 carburetor and a 78/75 turbocharger. The engine itself is a 4.8l lr4 with a holley dual plane intake, 2 inch spacer, 4 inch hat spacer and stage 1 truck cam at 208/212 duration. Carburetors get a bad rap because it is said that they do not like to run in the cold and that they are hard to start which is true when they are tuned poorly but if you take the time to tune your 4150 style carburetor, you should be able to get it to run however you want and in any condition.
