It is rather unusual that more and more former US military personnel have recently reported sightings and encounters with UFOs while serving in the US Army. Many UFO researchers believe that the military concealed the truth about UFOs and the technologies that were obtained from otherworldly beings. Many UFO sightings are similar to one another. Either this is just a coincidence or there are ETs from other planets who have been visiting our planet for a long time. A former USAF intelligence officer Major George A. Filer III claimed in his book that a grey alien was shot and killed at Fort Dix in New Jersey in 1978. Filer worked as a navigator in various aircraft and tanker transport aircraft at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey.

According to the 85-year-old officer, several UFOs were found hovering over McGuire Air Force Base in Fort Dix, and one of them either mistakenly landed or crashed near the base.

“It happened, all right,” said Filer who lives in Medford, Oregon.

The senior military police officer told author John L. Guerra about the incident. A thin creature of 1.2-meter height with gray skin and a large head was spotted near the car of the police officer when the military was observing an oval-shaped craft.

He tried to stop the alien but it did not understand him, and then the officer shot the creature five times.

Filer told in Guerra’s book that was entitled “Strange Craft: The True Story of an Air Force Intelligence Officer’s Life with UFOs” that the alien was shot with a .45-caliber military issued handgun.

Filer said:

“It was maybe four feet tall, with dull-coloured skin, long arms, a large head, and big black eyes. It’s what’s called a grey. The sentry, perhaps panicked, fired five rounds from his .45 into the thing. It scrambled, and either climbed over or crawled under the fence that separated the two bases.”

At 4 a.m., Filer arrived at the base, the guards checked him, then the sergeant took him aside and said: “An alien was shot and is dead on the runway.”

Filer said: “Do you mean like a Mexican alien?”

He answered: “No, no, this thing’s from, you know, outer space. They want you to brief Gen. (Thomas) Sadler.”

Filer replied: “It’s a joke, right? Sadler doesn’t have much of a sense of humour.”

After the alien was shot, a special cleaning team arrived at the scene, but the alien had already been dead, and the body was taken to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.

Whenever such a UFO incident used to happen, Wright-Patterson always attended the sight because it was involved in the “Project Blue Book” operation.

A senior officer told Filer that UFOs had been “buzzing like crazy around their base.” When Filer requested photographs and eyewitness accounts for the report, he was denied access to them.

Major George Filer is convinced that the military police officer’s story is not a hoax.
