The Crucible of Hearts, Proverbs 17:3

The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and the LORD tests hearts.
Proverbs 17:3 ESV

God knows you inside and out. He knows what you're made of. But in order for you to reach your full potential in the Kingdom, he has to transform your raw material into something pure and useful. He has to melt you down in the fire and hammer you into shape.
