The Best Way to Remove Skunk Spray From Your Dog

We have a new animal hanging around our off grid property, and we hope it doesn't stick around! Hinto met his first skunk on a walk the other night, and we were only 100m from home. We found the BEST way to remove the smell from Hinto by using hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and dish soap. Thankfully, because we were so close to home, we were able to get the mixture on him right away and he didn't have to sleep outside! It's amazing how well this mixture works for removing the smell, we highly recommend keeping these products on hand if you have pets and live in the same habitat as skunks.
