Over about the last 2 million years there's been about 20 ice ages, each spaced out about 100,000 years apart, with about 90,000 years of snowball Earth and then about 10,000 years of a green period. This is scientific fact based on ice core samples from Greenland and Vostok Russia. Presently, yes, the Earth could still be warming. But it's been gradually warming for the last 9,000 plus years.

Do you see where all that warm water heads north to Europe? If that ever changes much of Europe will be as frozen as Canada. That day is coming. It's anyone's guess as to when.
