Chess - Blockade 16 Pawns after 40

Despite not playing for quite some time, I still love the game. It was fun to play through this old game quickly (only to move 40). Black quickly went for the initiative going for tactical and attacking chances, white's king never castled. Those observing the game found it noteworthy how White's King participated in active defense and Blockade while being centrally posted. Remarkable was that after 40 moves there were still 16 pawns on the board, somewhat unusual.
