Showman's Rest Cemetery, Tampa & The Florida State Fair! This is Cal O'Ween!

Today we will be visiting the Showman's Rest Cemetery. Established in 1951, this cemetery is one of 4 Showman's cemeteries in the United States two being right here in Florida. Other locations include Chicago IL, and Hugo OK. The Tampa location is the final resting place of the Zacchini Family of flying trapeze artists, Edmundo Zacchini being the father was the first human cannonball to use compressed air and his daughter Duina ( queen of the circus ) today still holds the title of the greatest female trapeze artist of all time. The Chitwood family are also laid to rest here, Joie Chitwood owned and operated the Joie Chitwood thrill show which was an auto stunt show.
