Clark County Exposed. Employees Lounging On Overtime

In this photo is an individual who is employed with Clark County Nevada, in the department of real property management. The person is assigned to the clark county detention center. The individual is shown here watching football while on duty, and being paid overtime.

At least several labor hours were used in such a manner. This took place in 2022. It was reported to the assistant director.

This sort of behavior is not an isolated incident. Conduct similar to this is common for the shown individual, and also many others within the department. It is an internal culture that has been happening for many years.

Supervisors within the department of real property management are aware of such conduct and condone it. Clark County has not taken any apparent, or effective action as this type of behavior is still occurring after being reported to senior management.

It should also be know that the justification for having this person work overtime on that day was dishonest. The work could have easily been completed during the course of a regular shift. This is another example of a regular behavior that has been occurring for many years.

This information has also been shared with several news broadcasting networks in Las Vegas Nevada. They all chose not to cover this story, and many other issues. An employee of one such network even stated that "it may be better handled by police than a news story as the volume of abuse and misconduct does not appear to be very large financially".
