Another video from 2019.

It means nothing to say you want to make friends, as if there was a button that you can switch on. You can only find out that you are friends (with someone). You can't will it to happen.

Friendship is a state a being. You can't will your way into there, just like you can't will yourself to sleep. You slowly disappear into it. You allow yourself to fall asleep. This is the most you can do to reach friendship.

Subs:

to call somebody a friend is to externalize or verbalize a state of mind it follows that you have to be in that state of mind before you call somebody a friend and therefore when people say they want to be friends they're making the Tail Wag the Dog then in fact it is the other way around which means you can't choose to be somebody's friend and then suddenly engage in that state of mind rather you reach a state of mind which you call or describe as friendship just like how the dog ends up wagging the tail so the pronouncement of friendship is the conclusion not the cause

the cause there remains unknown or maybe it is know I don't want to talk about them you know what I'm saying

#howtomakefriends #howtoconnect #communicationskills #friendshipgoals #friends
