Plastic Free Challenge With Jan

Plastic free Cosmetics and Makeup (or almost).
While some of us are aware of the toxic chemicals found in most cosmetics and skin and body care products, we should also be aware of the packaging that they are in and the effect that the plastic has on the environment.

This challenge was put out at the end of 2022. However, I think that it is good to repeat this challenge. With this in mind we at Pavez are starting a 10 day challenge again from the 1st March 2023.

The challenge is for each of you to choose 10 items that you use daily whether it be a deodorant, foundation, moisturiser or soap etc. Then look at the plastic free alternatives which does not contain any of the ingredients listed in the picture, plus other ingredients such as liquid silicone (dimethicone) and artificial perfumes or fragrances (essential oils are fine).

To give you a reference point, each day we will personally add a new product over10 days in a set of videos and show you alternatives along with recipes whenever possible. Of course you don't have to follow our 10 day challenge, you can choose your own products that you use on a daily basis.

We will be starting off with deodorants, where I (Jan) will be showing alternative plastic free choices, along with a recipe where you can make your own healthy deodorant which is not just effective as a deodorant but smells wonderful too!
On day 2 of the challenge, we will be looking at plastic free alternatives to washing your body and face.
