Duran Duran | Seven and the Ragged Tiger [1983]

Duran Duran is no underground band. Their unique blend of infectious, groovy beats, awesome songs, and exceptional performances made them superstars.
Not to mention their appeal with the ladies... But they were so much more than just sex symbols. The music they created, especially on their first three records, has lasted and has only sounded better over the years.

While they were taken for granted for being so successful, so popular, and so attractive - there is actually great depth, ability and artistic merit to Duran Duran. Their 3rd record Seven and the Ragged Tiger released in 1983 was their highly anticipated follow-up to their critically acclaimed and smash hit Rio. While this album wasn't wanting for hits at all, it wasn't nearly as well received by the critics.

But we think, just like on Rio, every song is brilliant, fun, intriguing, and makes you want to move. Simon LeBon's vocals are perfection. Not one song is weak.

Please let us know what you think of this record! We love comments.

Hope you enjoy! Thanks for watching :)
