South Korea, the United States and Japan have conducted a combined maritime drill in which they practiced taking down incoming missiles from North Korea.
Our Defense Correspondent Oh Soo-young is live at the nation's Ministry of National Defense to fill us in.

1. Hi Sooyoung --the joint training finished just a few hours ago, right? What did it involve?
Hi Jungmin, you're right, the combined exercise between Seoul, Washington and Tokyo finished at around 2 PM on Wednesday, after a five-hour run.
It took place in the East Sea, involving the three countries’ Aegis-equipped guided-missile warships: South Korea’s largest destroyer Sejong the Great, the USS Barry and Japan’s Atago destroyer.
Based on a computer simulation, the allies practiced information-sharing to increase their ability to detect, track and intercept incoming ballistic missiles.
A joint chiefs of staff official told us South Korean and Japanese forces practiced missile detection and information sharing, while the U.S. warship intercepted the projectile.
