Scientists in the US say they have used new technology to restore movement in the arms of two people who had suffered strokes.
A team at the University of Pittsburgh created an electric spinal cord implant that stimulates the nerve endings damaged during a stroke, ultimately enabling people to move.
While more clinical trials are still needed, researchers say the results give a glimpse into the future, where such implants could make meaningful differences to people's lives.
