Our Automatic Goat Milking Machine Makes Milking Easy

This is a very affordable automatic goat milking machine that sells for only $119. Dansha Farms has a made in America goat milking system that anyone can use. Now Chris can also milk the goats with his nerve damage.

Dansha Farms sent me this automatic goat milking machine to try out here on the off grid homestead.

When I first opened the package I found that it has very little parts and is very simple to put together. I also found that it takes AA batteries and has a plug in wall charger to recharge the battery pack.

I love the fact that it uses AA batteries because this means that I can recharge the batteries on solar power using my battery chargers in my off grid tiny home.

When out milking the goats, the battery pack powers the device for a long time. You can milk a lot of goats on a charge with this thing. And when it runs out, just swap out the batteries and keep going.

The system consists of a one gallon glass jar with a lid. There is another lid with three tubes running through it. One tube goes to the vacuum pump and the other two go to the syringes.

There are two sizes of syringes so you can milk smaller animals as well.

When you have the system all hooked up milking the goats is easy.

Melanie demonstrates this for us. She places the cups on the goat teats and then turns on the vacuum pump for about 20 to 30 seconds. When vacuum builds up inside the glass jar, then the teats will be sucked into the syringes a little bit and form a seal.

A few seconds longer and you have milk flowing. At this time you turn off the pump and let the milk flow. When the milk slows down a bit you turn on the pump for a few more seconds.

When the goat has dried up, there is often a little pop and the cups come loose. If not then all you have to do is to put your finger in at the top of the syringe and gently release the pressure. It will sound like a balloon giving off air.

This is a very simple and affordable milking machine that anyone can use.
