Clinic Visit ~ Heard Baby Heart Beat ~ Road Trip

Just a very brief update on yesterday. We went on a very long road trip to the clinic for Melanie to get a checkup on her pregnancy. She got to hear the baby's heart beating.

We spent 5.5 hours round trip to get Melanie a check up. The driving time was only 30 minutes. I also got my Michigan drivers license back during this period.

The time at the clinic seemed to take forever for me as I waited but Melanie made some new friends so that is good.

She got to listen to the heart beat of the little baby inside her. She is so excited and was just glowing when she came out to tell me about it.

They ran some general tests on her and all seems well. We will get the lab results back soon.

We had a short visit from my parents after we got home. When they left, we drove out right behind them to head off to the cheapest grocery store I ever saw.

We came out with literally the largest load of groceries I ever got in one trip. The price was also the lowest I ever paid for so much.

Michigan is so great. It is a beautiful State with friendly people. Everywhere you go people are friendly and talk to you. I love this State.

I got my drivers license back and am so happy now. I also got my fishing license immediately afterward.

I cant wait to go fishing again. This is fishing heaven where we live.
