• Rev 4:1 Chapters 4 and 5 record glimpses into Christ's glory. Here we see into the throne room of heaven. God is on the throne and orchestrating all the events that John will record. The world is not spinning out of control; the God of creation will carry out his plans as Christ initiates the final battle with the forces of evil. John shows us heaven before showing us earth so that we will not be frightened by future events. The voice John had first heard that sounded like a trumpet blast was the voice of Christ. Come up here is a phrase that refers to the pressing up into the spirit realm. Until that happens, we cannot really have an encounter with the power of God. It is always a spiritual transaction.

• Rev 4:2 Four times in the book of Revelation John says he was "in the Spirit" (Rev_1:10; Rev_4:2; Rev_17:3; Rev_21:10). This expression means that the Holy Spirit was giving him a vision—showing him situations and events he could not have seen with mere human eyesight. All true prophecy comes from God through the Holy Spirit. The first thing that captures John's eye is a throne set, or literally "planted" in heaven. This means in the sprit realm God's throne governs and rules over heaven and earth. The throne is not empty, worship and devotion will get us into the throne room.

• Rev 4:3 The jasper stone was a clear stone, like a diamond—and speaks of light. Because God is light (1Jn_1:5), He's not in the dark about your disappointing marriage, your distressing physical affliction, your depressing financial situation or anything that you may be going through. The sardine stone is like a ruby, which is red. Truly, the ruby-red blood of Christ flowed from His veins as the nails pierced His hands, as the crown of thorns was clubbed into His skull, as the spear sliced into His side. And through it all, He would declare, "There's nothing more I could ever do or say to prove to you I am in love with you" The throne of God is not surrounded by danger signs or warning lights. It's surrounded by a rainbow emblematic of grace. hat is why we are not instructed to come boldly unto the throne of service, intense worship, or clean living. We are invited to come boldly unto the throne of grace. God is looking for people to bless who won't take credit by saying, "It's my praying or witnessing, my disciplined spirituality or intense study," but rather, "It's only grace that has brought me thus far." Grace is the only thing that truly allows the Lord to get all the glory. Is He getting the glory for all the things in your life?

Personal Supplication
Father, in the name of Jesus, help me give all the glory to You alone for everything that You do in my life.
Acts 12:22-23
22 And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.
23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

Daily Covenant Favor Declaration
I decree in the name of Jesus, from this moment forward, I see myself the way God sees me. I am highly favoured of the Lord. I am crowned with glory and honour. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I am reigning as a king in life through the one man Jesus Christ the messiah. Now in Jesus name, I declare by faith that I walk in divine favour, I have preferential treatment, supernatural increase. I have restoration, I have prominence, I have petitions granted, laws changed, policies and rules changed, and battles won, which I do not have to fight all because of favour. The blessing and favour of God is on my life. In Jesus name, every morning, when I arise, I would speak and expect divine favour to go before me and surround me as with a shield, with goodwill and pleasures forevermore.

Doors are now open for me that men said are impossible to open. No obstacles can stop me, no hindrances can delay me. In Jesus name, I am honoured by my Father, as I receive genuine favour that comes directly from God. I am special to Him, I am the object of His affection, I am the apple of His eyes, I am blessed and highly favoured of the Lord. Everyone and everything shall work to favour me. Angels Goodness and Mercy shall accompany me in all my ways. It is written with long life will God satisfy me and show me his salvation. Therefore, I declare that I shall not die but live to declare the goodness of the Lord.
