Back To The Homestead Working In Off Grid Wood Shop & More

Back on the homestead after our trip to Mackinaw Michigan we got right back to work again. Melanie cleaned up inside the house and unpacked our gear while I worked outside on the land and animals.

I started working in the garden where I plan to stake up the tomatoes. I pulled out all the posts and string that marked our rows. I am going to reuse the string to tie up the tomatoes.

In the off grid electronics lab I used the laser wood burner to etch some patterns in pallet wood. Then in the wood shop I cut out the forms and make some lighthouse souvenirs.

I made two different sizes and each one will have various options available. Please tell me what you think.

The cool thing about these is that I made them out of recycled pallet wood and fully off the grid. Literally the entire process was powered by my solar panels.

Someone sent me a package with some handheld CB radios. We can use these in the fall when I am out hunting. Melanie and I can reach each other in case of emergency.
