The Emergencies Act Inquiry Commissioner Paul Rouleau makes a statement following the release of the Public Order Emergency Commission’s report on the federal government’s use of the Emergencies Act on February 17th 2023. He rambles on for the first 10 minutes about his job and the history of events at the Convoy. He finally gets to the point in the later half of the speech, and in the eyes of Rouleau, there was sufficient cause for the Trudeau government to invoke the emergencies act. He says the legal outcomes of the evidence is not up to him to determine. Protests and puppeted politicians continue across Canada.
